A study, by Slot Tracker, was based on the number of national parks, walking trails, spas, meditation centres, yoga, and Pilates per100,000 of the population.
Portugal was ranked the fourth most relaxing country in Europe.
The country scored a 7.33 out of 10, with Portugal having almost 33% more hiking trails and 15%more parks than neighbouring Spain.
It’s no surprise, with the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park close to Lisbon, and the Ria Formosa National Park in the Algarve, as some of the highlights of the country’s natural beauty.
And the good news is, Portugal offers a selection of appealing visa options with generous tax incentives, such as the Golden Visa,D7 Visa and D8 Visa, only add to the reasons to move to Portugal.
